About the Series:
It’s not an understatement to say we’re living in unprecedented times. Almost overnight, a deadly combination of COVID-19, growing social unrest, and economic instability have driven a rapid and largely unscripted refocusing of education around the world. Simultaneously, we stand on the threshold of a bold new era of possibilities – a global technological revolution that is fundamentally transforming the way we live, work, and learn.
This series considers the possibilities and challenges that Artificial Intelligence and other advanced technologies hold for educators, and examines their potential to become education’s new normal. Please join us for a series of five webinars featuring conversations with educational experts, futurists, data scientists, game designers, and sociologists.
In a time when educators face a rapidly shifting landscape and struggle to engage students in a post-pandemic world, what role does Artificial Intelligence (AI) play, if any? The arrival of AI in education isn’t science fiction, it’s already here. Join us for the first of five webinars focused on the integration of AI and other innovations in education. In this webinar, presentations from international experts and futurists will brief us about the amazing promise of AI in education and why it’s needed today…and tomorrow. This webinar includes a special focus on AI for teacher development.
