How to become a Microsoft Certified Educator
27th April @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm BST
About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
This workshop is designed to support educators considering or preparing to take their Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) exam. The event will run through the online learning materials, help you understand what to expect in the exam, and how best to prepare.
(Please note – Having staff with the MCE accreditation is a requirement for a Microsoft Showcase School).
The Microsoft Certified Educator certification assesses an educator’s understanding of 21st Century Learning Design (21CLD) and use of a range of Microsoft tools. It is designed for educators, those who are preparing to become educators and involved with teacher training to recognise their knowledge and understanding by sitting an online exam.
This workshop is for educators who are considering taking the exam and focuses on what learning materials to use and how to best prepare for the exam and logistics around sitting the exam.
An understanding of how to teach with Office 365 and other Microsoft tools is assumed.
