About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
Following on from the introductory session, this webinar will explore two of the pillars of the 21st Century Learning Design course – Collaboration and Skilled Communication. We will look at the key concepts, how this links in with questions in the Microsoft Certified Educator exam and examples of how this could be used in our classroom practice.
During this session we will cover:
- The big ideas, rubric and decision tree for the Collaboration pillar of 21CLD
- The big ideas, rubric and decision tree for the Skilled Communication pillar of 21CLD
- Different examples of how Microsoft tools can be used to facilitate collaboration and skilled communication
- The types of questions you might face in the exam, based on these pillars
The session is primarily aimed at educators, since the MCE exam is rooted in pedagogy and teaching and learning principles. However it is open to the wider education community, where there is an interest in teaching with technology.
Pre-requisites: knowledge/understanding of information delivered in Session 1.
