About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
This session follows on from the previous MCE webinars and will explore the key aspects of the exam, as well as exploring different question styles and key tips for completing the exam.
In this session, we will:
- Recap on the structure of the exam
- Recap on the key logistics of the exam, including timings, question weightings etc
- Look at how to access practice tests through GMetrix
- Explore the different question styles included in the exam and look at how to approach answering the questions
- Explore next steps
Pre-requisites: knowledge/understanding of information of previous sessions and the MCE content.
About your Trainer:
Sam is a former English teacher and head of department with fifteen years of experience as a teacher and over twenty years working in education. She is passionate about the transformative impact technology can have on learning and teaching and is a keen advocate of supporting students to develop the digital skills to help navigate their future.
As a senior consultant at Tablet Academy UK, Sam provides training, consultancy and advice on the adoption and best practice when embedding the use of technology for teaching and learning. She also provides training and guidance for non-teaching staff and support staff, as well as supporting local and national government agencies with digital transformation.
Sam is an MIE Expert, MIE Master Trainer, Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Educator and can often be found presenting on behalf of Microsoft at national and international events.
