Session Overview

Why should you attend:

Equitable access to content and tools to support teaching and learning is an important aspect of every student´s learning journey. If you are a Microsoft user, this webinar will cover elements of a range of Microsoft solutions.

What can you expect:

By the end of this webinar you will have an understanding of the role that inclusive design plays in Enabling Equitable Education. You will gain an insight into Microsoft products that have inclusivity and accessibility tools built into the applications, which each student can customise to meet their own individual needs. The tools such as real-time translation and transcription will be discussed which not only supports those students who are not living with a disability, but also for those who may have a visual impairment. Such tools allow students with a range of learning barriers to participate fully in learning activities and you will be shown examples of solutions that allow students to create, engage, and participate in constructing knowledge at all levels.

The tools covered that support this will include Windows 11, Teams, Microsoft365, Learning Tools, and Microsoft Edge.

Who is it for:

This is the first part of a three part series entitled `Enabling Equitable Education´ which explores the role Microsoft solutions play in providing a rich learning journey for students. This webinar is for school leaders, those responsible for the strategic deployment of technology, and teachers who are using Education Technology to support teaching and learning both in, and outside the classroom.
