About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
This session is for schools accessing Microsoft tools such as Teams and OneNote using iPads. The session will demostrate how capitalise on the combination of the Apple hardware and Microsoft’s cloud enviornment with native applications.
Many schools have adopted Microsoft tools such as Teams, OneNote, SharePoint/OneDrive to deliver remote learning, but now that students are back in the classroom, many educators are looking to continue using these tools but on classroom devices, which in many cases may include iPads.
For this reason we are delivering a session for educators that covers how to get the very best from the Microsoft cloud and native iPad apps such as Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and One Note. The session will also cover some of the basic demands created by a classroom environment including working with shared devices, workflow, and capturing evidence of learning.
This session is ideal for any educators using iPads to deliver content, or for those where students use iPads in some, or all, lessons.
No prior knowledge is required, but some experience of using iPads in the classroom would help, plus an understanding of the core Microsoft tools such as Teams and OneNote would be beneficial.
